SONG FOR REFUGEE

Song for Refugee

These pieces are inspired by the music of empty houses. On the empty shells that let us hear the songs of the sea inside, but, that house has to be empty, to hear it. I think about people who had to leave their homes to save themselves, leave them with the minimum possible without knowing where or for how long. I think of those houses, those remnants of homes, and the people who once inhabited them.
I will like to pay attention on the people who need it the most, I would like that all of us put attention there, that this pieces are a pretext to generate a feeling of love that reaches the refugee camps of the world, a brotherly hug that somehow comforts them and makes them feel accompanied.

RED-BLACK

These pieces were made for "Red and black" show, I integrate materials, textures and colors.

SEA

Sean collection recalls the lines of salt and sand remaining on the body after swimming in the sea, they are memories of moments of plenitude and connection with nature.

NATURE

Each one is a unique pieces as they are cypress branches immortalized in bronze, following their whimsical forms to give them new meaning, changing their context.

PINA

Its name alludes to Pinamar, a city on the Argentine coast, where nature is special, there is a mix between forest, dunes beach. They say that this city was built from the plantation of pine trees and it is from them that textures and pieces of line of their bark and leaves come form.

CHITO

This collection is inspired on the blue mountains of Mexico City, its revaluation and dignifying a single branch found, its made on brass

WHITE WALE

My work refers to the white whale, as a world, I am getting my attention on the little species that lives on their skin, she like a protector giving place and food to many colonys of little bugs, they will never get to know that they are living on a living been, It make me think about the planet earth and how we live in, without taking care, just thinking that it will be here for ever, and how the planet is just a little part of the solar system, and the galaxy.

EVA

Eva is inspired by a walk Eva took though eden garden when she was only wearing a leaf.

METRIC

Metric collection is inspired by problems, problems we fight along the way, sometimes they can be big or real .. and some times not, and how we can make ti bigger or just put in in the forgotten basket, to overcome or transformed in a certain way, to learn to go with them, I decide to fill them with colors!

COCO

This collection its inspired on river rocks, in the shapes they acquire by constant movement of water how they get soften and thin, some times they even get an inside and outside, kind of a shell and content, concave, convex, co-co, coco.

REVOLT

It is a generalized no borders complaint about the kind of society we have created full of social inequalities and injustice, where everyone takes care only of himself at the expense of others.

Each tiny piece of the collar represents a human being and all pieces while being woven remind us we need each other and everything we do to our neighbor and to our planet will affect us directly.

This necklace offers a revolution of ideas and principles.
